Duncan made a surprise appearance at the Spurs practice facility Wednesday and watched his former teammates scrimmage. The future Hall of Famer isn’t cutting his retirement short, but he still has a role within the organization if he wants it.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich even suggested a potential title for Duncan: “Coach of Whatever He Wants to Be.” Looks like “Coach Timmy” has already gotten a head start on doing all of that strategic whatever.
